September 2016 - Hoosier Park Racing & Casino
The creative agency held a t-shirt design contest for the Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay that would be at Hoosier Park Racing & Casino. And although I am proud of what I came up with, my designs were not chosen to be used.
I did do some research on the torch relay to get some inspiration and some understanding of what I was designing for. What really caught my eye was the meaning of the torch: remember the past, celebrate the present, and ignite the future. So, in turn, I decided to use remember, celebrate & ignite on both of my designs.
The above design combines the Hoosier Park swoosh with a torch.

The above design actually plays off of Indiana's state flag...I have 19 stars placed on both sides of the shirt.
